              Clemson University Rugby Field

Clemson, SC - On the evening of Friday November 11, 2011, Clemson will close out the fall rugby season with a huge match at home. Not only does the game showcase the
Tigers against their natural foe in the Gamecocks of the University of South Carolina, but it also features the Tigers efforts to aid in issues that exist well off of the rugby pitch. The match, sponsored by Two Sisters Boutique, is a benefit for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and will serve as a fundraiser to help contribute to the organization’s fight against breast cancer.

Various local and national organizations have joined forces with the Tigers to help meet their goal of raising $5,000 to donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In order to meet this goal, the Tigers are seeking additional sponsors and donors for the event. By donating $100 and submitting company or personal name and logo by November 1, company or personal name will be recognized on the back of the event t shirts, which will be sold to raise additional funds at the event. Player sponsorships are also available at $50 in which company or personal name, submitted by November 9, will be acknowledged during pre game player announcements and at any time your sponsored player scores. Both levels of sponsorship will also be recognized in the match day flyer.

Door prizes, music, food and fun will be on hand match day. Whether you can contribute financially from a far, or offer support by attending the event,
please make a point to do so. If you have any questions on how you can get involved, please contact our Event Coordinator, Scott MacDonald at jmscottmacdonald05@hotmail.com.
